Abacus L1 — Simple Addition Practice (Within One Rod)

40 problems across 4 pages. All sums stay within a single rod (maximum result of 9). Page 1 is fully guided with bead movement steps. Pages 2-4 progressively remove scaffolding.

Rule reminder: When you cannot push more lower beads up (rod is full at 4), use the upper bead swap: push upper bead down and remove the complement from lower beads.
