Who is this for?
Children who have completed Abacus Level 1 or higher. Aged 8–12. Ideal after completing Level 2 or alongside Level 3.
What you'll learn
- Understand what mental abacus (Anzan) is and how to train for it
- Build a stable, vivid mental picture of the abacus frame and beads
- Recall single-digit numbers from a 1.5-second flash
- Recall two-digit numbers from a 1.8-second flash
- Perform simple additions using only the mental abacus image
- Complete a speed mind challenge with flash + drill under time pressure
