Before we learn about internet safety, we need to understand what the internet actually IS. It is not a single thing — it is a network. Imagine millions of computers, phones, and tablets all connected by invisible wires and signals. That network lets you watch videos, play games, send messages, and learn new things.

What can you do on the internet?

Some are trying to trick you. That is why we need internet safety rules — just like we have road safety rules for traffic.
The road safety comparison
Think of the internet like a busy road. Cars (information) move fast. Most drivers (people) are fine. But some drive dangerously. You would not cross a busy road without looking both ways. Similarly, you should not use the internet without knowing the safety rules. This course teaches you those rules — one lesson at a time.
